The event held on Sat 7th June was a success
20 delegates attended the RCCE funding morning on the 7th June.
Ed Hickman from the Big Lottery presented a thought provoking, interesting presentation on several of the Lottery funding schemes. The presentation made clear what each scheme could or could not fund.
Sarah Sapsford and Stella Meesters (RCCE Field Officers) led on an interactive session looking at how to raise funding locally, particpants shared experiences that raised up to £4000 for local projects.
Sue Sheppard the RCCE Village Halls and Community Buildings Advisor closed the session with a presentation on how to fill in an funding application. Example funding streams and some practical examples helped delegates understand the complexities of funding.
