RCCE Staff and Trustees donned their glad-rags on 2nd July to attend a black tie dinner and auction fundraising evening.
RCCE teamed up with the High Sherriff of Essex Rupert Gosling who kindly hosted the evening, to raise money for the High Sheriffs’ Fund Awards and the new RCCE fund, the Essex Rural Fund.
Over 180 guests enjoyed a drinks reception on the lawn before dinner accompanied by entertainment from the ‘resurrected’ cabaret act Flanders and Swan.
After dinner Tim Trembath conducted a highly successful auction that raised over £10,000! The final total of money raised from the evening is still being toted up.
