Putting pen to paper for the RCCE.

Could you help improve the organisations media coverage and development of in-house publications?

The RCCE volunteer press officer will help write, proof read and collate the organisations press releases for the local, regional and national press as well as assist with the production of publicity material. The volunteer press officer will develop and deliver press releases, liaise with staff to promote the RCCE’s project work, help maintain the tri-annual publication ‘the Oyster’, produce news articles for the RCCE website and develop links with the local press. Candidates will ideally be professionally trained, experienced journalists with an interest in rural affairs.

The post will be home based with a proportion of time at the office of the Rural Community Council of Essex in Feering. If you are interested in putting pen to paper for RCCE or if you have any queries please call, Nick Shuttleworth or Shelley Labbett at the Rural Community Council of Essex on 0844 477 3938.
