What is a Community Options Study?

Community Options Studies are initiated by Housing Associations as a means of involving residents in creating a vision and action plan for their area.

The process is to establish an independent community group, then to engage the wider community in exploring local issues and options to tackle them, and finally to prepare a community action plan.

The process is led by the community group with support from the housing association and other organisations.
