This session looks at how the spatial and community planning systems in the UK link to community led plans. Learn about the Local Development Framework and the Sustainable Community Strategy and how your community can link into these plans. "Funding your project" This session provides valuable funding advice for your project. Listen to tailored presentations on relevant grant funds available and get some useful hints and tips to help you fill in a successful funding application. "Introducing Community Led Planning" This session introduces Community Led Planning projects including Parish Plans and Village Design Statements. Find out what is involved in creating a plan for the future of your community and the benefits of Community Led Planning. "Managing your committee" This session looks at the different skills require to successfully manage a committee or a group. Discover the art of chairing a meeting, how to take minutes and manage the finances of a group. "Introducing project planning" This session looks at how to plan and manage a project. Create a project plan for your project and determine how to manage the tasks involved. "Consulting your community" This session explores different levels of communication between an organisation and the community. Learn about appropriate methods to use in different situations to best consult your community in your project. "Action planning" This session looks at how to create a SMART action plan. Learn how to identify potential actions and create an action plan that can be implemented effectively. "Taking actions forward" This session provides some examples of actions your group may like to carry out. Listen to speakers from a variety of organisations on projects that may benefit your community. "Creating your community led plan" This session provides support to communities creating community led plans.
