RCCE manages the Essex Rural Partnership, which brings together in membership different organisations with an aim to secure a sustainable future for the county's rural areas.

Other key partners include Essex County Council, District/Borough Councils, Essex Development and Regeneration Agency (ExDRA), Essex Association of Local Councils, Essex Wildlife Trust and many more.
