The Village Hall is an ideal venue for hosting a wide range of events, for either business or pleasure, ranging from wedding receptions to anniversary gatherings, conferences to children's parties.Housed in the old village school, built in 1854, and converted for use as a village hall in 1955, this lovely old building has been completely refurbished and brought up to date over the past five years. The splendid new entrance provides level access from the road; the main hall can be divided by sliding screens if required; the new kitchen is extremely well equipped, and there are new cloakrooms for all, including the disabled and parents with babies and toddlers.There is a car park behind the Hall, and children's play area and BMX track rising up the hill to the Sports Pavillion and Recreation Ground at the top.
