The hall was built in the mid 1960's and has been run under trust by a management committee for the village and neighbouring hamlets. It has very easy access for people to find so is ideal for a party, conference or wedding reception where you have people who are travelling and are not familiar with the area. It is sited in the centre of the small village in a mainly farmed area of Essex. The hall has recently undergone a programme of refurbishment works to bring it up to the standard you see today.
