Rural Housing Enabler

Part Time - 14 hrs per week

Salary circa £24,000 (pro rata)

Reporting to: Community Engagement Manager

As part of its work RCCE helps rural communities explore and provide affordable housing solutions in Essex.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and confident communicator to be the Rural Housing Enabler. You will promote and advise on Community-led and affordable rural housing.  You will work with partners, engage with rural communities and parish councils, including delivering presentations and undertaking housing needs surveys across Essex.

Applicants must be able to prioritise, problem solve and have a can do attitude. You must be able to enthuse people, maintain (and grow) relationships and have an understanding of the challenges rural communities. Experience or an interest in affordable rural housing, planning/development or research and community development is desirable.

Community Agents Essex, Delivery Manager

 

35 Hours per week

Salary: circa £28,000 per annum

Reporting to: Community Services Manager

 

Community Agents Essex is a countywide partnership led by RCCE to support older people and informal carers to find and develop independent living solutions

 

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, well organised manager for the delivery of the Community Agents Essex project. The Delivery Manager will be predominantly office based, managing a team of 16 agents employed by RCCE. He/she will also manage the enquiries function for the overall project.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they can manage people and resources to ensure success. You will need to be a team player with excellent spoken and written communication skills and good IT skills. This appointment will be subject to a DBS check.

Both roles will be based at: RCCE House in Feering, Essex

A full driving licence and use of your own car will be required for both roles.
