Growing Communities (GC) is asking all our busy bee helpers to create a bee haven for our buzzy friends to feed, live and propser.
Warning team effort required! GC welcomes entries from groups/classes from primary schools in Essex starting now until 8th July 2022. The children will be asked to design a bee friendly plot and complete a diary to show from start to finish the sowing and planting of their bee haven. They will also be tested on their knowledge by answering some simple bee facts!
The competition is open to all primary schools in Essex, with two age categories 4-7 years and 8-11 years.
Prizes
First Prize: Gardening equipment bundle, Bee Book, Interactive Bee House and Kings Seeds annual bee mix.
Runners up: Bee Book, Interactive Bee House and Kings Seeds annual bee mix.
