In collaboration with the RHSCampaign for School Gardening, the competition invites school children to plan what they could grow in a small allotment plot and then invent a recipe for a healthy packed lunch using this produce.

There are some fantastic prizes on offer. First prize includes £1000 worth of gardening equipment (chosen by winning school), RHS CPD courses for teachers, gardening vouchers, a chance to plant the winning plot design at RHS Hyde Hall and the opportunity to prepare and cook the recipe at the 'Can Cook Will Cook' project's kitchen at Ashlyns.

Two runners up will also benefit from gardening equipment, vouchers and a teacher CPD course. Furthermore, there will be a number of Highly Commended certificates awarded at the judges' discretion.

Schools are asked to register their interest in the competition.  If they do so before 26th October, they will qualify for free seeds provided by Kings. All entries must be received by 8th February 2013 and the winners will be announced in March 2013.
