This fund will enable community groups to carry out energy efficiency assessments and renewable energy feasibility studies. Average grants are expected to be around £50,000 with a maximum grant of £130,000. Constituted groups and parish councils are eligible to apply for this funding.
The deadline for the first round of applications is 22nd December 2011, with a second round deadline of 31st January 2012. All funding awarded must be spent by 31st March 2012.
