This year, the Augustine Courtauld Trust has provided funding for RCCE to run an ‘Essex Village Hall of the Year’ competition and enclosed is an Entry Form for you.
We welcome entries from all hall members whether you are governed by a charity, parish council, PCC, WI or other type of organisation.
We’re looking for halls which are well managed by an active committee and one’s which are integral to your local community – it’s not just about being the newest, biggest or prettiest hall (although we’ll welcome entries from these hall committees too!).
The Augustine Courtauld Trust has been very generous this year and we can offer a First Prize of £1000 and 2nd & 3rd Prizes of £500 for you to spend on a project of your choice.
I do hope you will enter the competition and support RCCE in this new venture – the more entries we receive the better our chances of securing funding again next year. The closing date for the receipt of entries is FRIDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER 2013.
