Community Agents Essex as part of Essex Wellbeing Service (EWS) is seeking to add to our network of agents.
We are a network of Community Agents working across Essex, supporting adults and their informal carers with living independently. This is not a personal caring role but supports individuals with achieving their goals to either remain or regain the independence to live in their own home. The role involves visiting people in their own homes – on an appointment system – and helping them find solutions that meet their individual needs, these might be supporting with blue badge applications, identifying specialist support for housing or financial affairs or increasing social activities and connections. Many of the solutions will be found locally and our agents work with many services and organisations to enable people to continue living in their own homes. This is not a personal caring role.
