Four Voluntary and Community Sector organisations have come together as a partnership to deliver a targeted service to help older people in Essex. The “Community Agents Essex” service is a countywide network of agents and volunteers who support older people and their informal carers to find and develop independent living solutions from within their local community.

Community Agents Essex Enquiries Officer
24.5 Hours per week
Salary: circa £18,000 per annum pro rata
Reporting to: Community Services Manager
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, well organised Enquiries Officer for the Community Agents Essex project.
The person will operate a telephone/email information line to receive new enquiries and provide information about the Community Agents Essex project. The post will report to the Community Services Manager employed by Rural Community Council of Essex.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate clear and sensitive spoken and written communication skills. You will need to be well organised, accurate, possess excellent IT skills and have an awareness of places within the County of Essex.
This appointment will be subject to a DBS check.
This role will be based at: RCCE House in Feering, Essex but a full driving licence and use of your own car will be desirable.
