    Braintree Advice Sevices Partnership

    Advice services in the Braintree district are about to get even better.

    Braintree, Halstead and Witham Citizens Advice Bureau, Mid Essex Mind, Greenfields Community Housing, Braintree District Council, Age UK Essex and Rural Community Council of Essex have joined forces to improve advice and support in relation to welfare benefits, debt, housing and employment.

    On 6th June 2013, Edible Essex took part in the sixth 'Essex Schools Food and Farming Day' at Writtle College.

    A Great Day Had by All!

    The sun really took his hat off for supporters of the Essex Rural Fund on Saturday 20th April as they rambled their way through the Colne Valley, and although the bluebells are being coy this year, the lack of blue carpet on the valley floor did not detract from the beauty of the scenery.

    Edible Essex supports Chignals & Mashbury Community Orchard

    On Friday 12th April,the Chignals and Mashbury Jubilee Community Orchard was officially opened. Local residents and children joined in with the tree planting and were able to label their own trees.

    CHARITY WALKERS TAKE A TOUR OF COLNE VALLEY

    Essex County Council Leader Peter Martin, the High Sheriff of Essex Julia Abel Smith, and the Essex Police and Crime Commissioner Nick Alston, will be amongst over 80 walkers taking part in a charity walk on Saturday, 20th April to raise money for the Essex Rural Fund.
