Billericay Reading Rooms - Basildon District
Locally known as the 'Reading Rooms', as the original inscription shows above the entrance. Dates back to 1886 and is located in a thriving High Street environment. Extensively refurbished in 2005 , the hall is ideal for a variety of events or functions, business/pleasure, and can seat sixty people for a lecture or seminar. In addition, it has a fully equipped kitchen along with toilet facilities including disabled. It also has a separate accessed smaller committee/interview room providing restful seating for up to 12 people around a large boardroom style table. The rooms are available for hire by pre-determined sessions. Tariff of hire charges available.
