Winners (category age 8-11 years) Friars Grove Primary School welcomed RCCE and Perrywood Garden Centre to their well deserved planting day. Hannah Powell from Perrywood Garden Centre helped the children plant the winning design by Grace and amptly named 'Crop Pop'. Teachers Rachel Hynes and Kim Sherwood encouraged the children to enter the competition proudly showed us the area which took alot of work to clear and turn into a fabulous planting area for all the children to enjoy. It was amazing to hear the schools inspiration of creating the outdoor educational facility came from winning the competition! First prize being £500 worth of gardening equipment and plants with thanks to Perrywood Garden Centre, the prize was certainly put to good use! To view the planting day please click here
