Officer – Rural England Prosperity Fund (Maldon)
18 hours per week - £30,000 FTE
Rural Community Council of Essex (RCCE) is working
in partnership with Maldon District Council to deliver the Rural England
Prosperity Fund, an exciting new funding opportunity for rural businesses and
community organisations, within Maldon district. We are seeking to appoint a
Programme Officer who will engage with local businesses and community
organisations throughout the district to promote the fund and facilitate the
development of strong and sustainable funding applications.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate relevant experience and knowledge of grants and funding programmes, strong stakeholder engagement and organisational skills and an ability to encourage and facilitate initiatives. Excellent communication skills will be essential as will an ability to manage your own priorities, time and workload and work to agreed deadlines.
This post will be based at the RCCE offices at
Feering, near Colchester, but home working will be permitted. You are required
to have a full driving licence and access to a car. The post is time limited to
April 2025.
