RCCE has recently distributed version 4 of the ACRE Information Sheet 'Re-opening Village and Community Halls post COVID-19 closure' (available to download below). The updated information sheet has been revised in line with Government guidance issued on 15th July and now includes information on 'Performances' and 'Indoor sports and exercise' in anticipation of the relaxation of restrictions on 25th July.
ACRE has reminded hall managers and trustees that halls should 'not re-open until you have identified the necessary safety, compliance, management, and operational issues through a COVID-19 risk assessment and established a plan to address and mitigate them. You are not obliged to re-open immediately and it would be unwise to do so if you have not been through that process'.
